Ever since Johnny started working in the restaurant world when he was 15, he dreamed of having his own place someday. It would be a comfortable, homey place, where people shared good food, stories and laughs; a fun place to work; a place that cared about its neighbors and gave back to its community; a place that had a fast, fresh, friendly & fun atmosphere.
Being of Irish descent, he always pictured it being an Irish Pub, but after 25 years of managing other people's bars and restaurants, and after years of coaching and volunteering for his kids' teams and school groups, he realized that he wanted more of a family-friendly feel to it. Around the time of this realization, Johnny's friend, Sue, lamented "We don't have any good diners around here." and PRESTO! Johnny's Hometown Diner was born!
Five years later, after a lot of hard work, and a lot of support from his loving family and friends, Johnny's dream was born on Route One in North Attleboro. Feel free to kick back, enjoy some good food, and share a story or a laugh, because this is YOUR Hometown, too!
Johnny wouldn't have it any other way!
